AL AIN HOSTS THE THIRD ROUND OF THE ABU DHABI BAJA CHALLENGE
United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi, 25th January 2024: The third and penultimate round of the Abu Dhabi Baja Challenge’s first season begins on Saturday, 27th January, in the Oasisi city of Al Ain. Organised by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council in cooperation with the Emirates Motorsports Organization (EMSO), the UAE’s governing body for all motorsports activities in the country, the event will take place in the desert area surrounding Al Ain International Airport.
The Challenge consists of 4 rounds, all run within the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. The Series kicked off in Tilal Swaihan back in October, then had a second round in the fascinating dunes of Liwa -just outside of Mzeir’ah city- and now gears up for the third round in Al Ain, one of the oldest and culturally richest cities of the Emirate. The season will close in February 17th when the Abu Dhabi Bajas return to Tilal Swaihan for the final round of the championship.
The Abu Dhabi Baja Challenge features the participation of cars, motorcycles, quads, and buggies. This community-oriented challenge has successfully attracted an elite group of competitors that includes many of the top riders and drivers in the Region, and the number of international and GCC participants is also on the rise.
The Abu Dhabi Baja Challenge Series focuses on developing talents and provides a platform for all members of society to participate, with the possibility of winning financial prizes that will help them continue and develop in the sport. It also plays an important role in refining participants’ skills and preparing them to compete internationally.
